The devil is in the details

I love accents or little touches but they must always be important, not insignificant. This lace up, denim culottes are my current favourite. Similar to jeans but with a lot more fun and flare and can be paired with just about anything. In this casual look I decided to add more interest with a monochrome gingham crop top and slightly contrasting blue, cropped denim shirt jacket.

Also, don’t be afraid to DIY with clothing, it’s actually one of my favourite things. I’m always cutting, bleaching or embellishing stuff to give them a little makeover. Adding a bit more charm, I cut a denim shirt I had not worn in forever and made it into a cropped shirt jacket. Over time the raw edges of the denim will become even more frayed, giving it more character.
