The lovely sister isle of Trinidad, our best kept secret. Tobago holds some of the best hidden gems. While on my trip this is one of the places I visited- Bacolet Beach Club. Very picturesque, very quiet, and quite tourist-y.
If you’re looking for a getaway that has both tropics and a major chill factor, I highly recommend Tobago. There are many spots for local food and a few fine dining.
Below you will find my recommendations of where to eat, stay and things to do.
Eat: The Seahorse Inn ( Caribbean Fusion), Ciao Pizzeria (Authentic Italian pizza and pasta) – these are just two places I ate at. My best advice is to explore the busy areas and ask the locals.
Do: Tobago is surrounded by beautiful beaches, has a number of water sports and natural waterfalls. Beyond those, driving along the coastline was my favourite thing to do. The Bacolet and Speyside coasts are especially pretty.
Stay: Bacolet Beach Club (amazing ocean view), Speyside Inn (secluded beach front)
